                                          What Is Plastisol Ink?

Plastisol ink is the most commonly used ink in garment screen printing. Unlike water-based inks, plastisol does not dry in the screen, making it easier to print and reclaim while providing excellent color opacity and durability.

Plastisol inks are used on everything from basic cotton garments to polyester performance apparel and specialty applications.

                                          Low Cure Plastisol Inks

Low cure plastisol inks are designed to cure at lower temperatures, helping reduce dye migration and minimize garment shrinkage on heat-sensitive fabrics.

Many modern plastisol inks, including International Coatings FlexCure formulations and Atlas Sport Line inks, offer wider cure ranges for increased production flexibility.

Low Bleed Inks for Polyester Printing

Low bleed plastisol inks help prevent dye migration when printing on polyester and performance fabrics. These inks are formulated to reduce the risk of garment dyes bleeding into the printed image during curing.

Low bleed formulations are commonly used for team uniforms, athletic apparel, and performance garments.

Atlas Sport Line inks are formulated as low cure, low bleed, stretch plastisol inks designed for modern performance apparel and athletic garment printing.

The line includes popular white and black inks developed for excellent coverage, durability, and production performance.

                                          Choosing the Right Plastisol Ink

The best plastisol ink depends on the garment type, fabric content, curing equipment, and production requirements. Factors such as low cure capability, bleed resistance, opacity, stretch performance, and specialty effects should all be considered when selecting an ink system.
