PERMATONE 12 Liter Color Mixing Kit is a water-based color matching system designed for textile screen printing on natural and synthetic fabrics. The complete kit includes twelve 1-liter components: nine color bases—Yellow R/S, Yellow G/S, Orange, Red B/S, Red Y/S, Green, Blue, Violet, and Magenta—plus Black, White, and Extender. Each component can also be purchased individually, making it easy to view or replenish specific colors within the PERMATONE mixing system.
Together, these components allow screen printers to mix up to 1,869 colors, providing an extensive range for custom color matching and consistent textile printing. The system is particularly useful for creating specific colors for branded apparel, corporate graphics, custom designs, and other applications where repeatable color reproduction is important.
PERMATONE inks produce brilliant, transparent shades with a soft handle and strong rub resistance once properly cured. PERMATONE is suitable for a wide variety of textile screen printing applications, including T-shirts, flags, banners, sportswear, fashion garments, swimwear, upholstery, linens, tote bags, and other printed textiles.
The PERMATONE system can be used on fabrics including linen, hemp, silk, organic cotton, cotton/polyester blends, and most synthetic fabrics. Recommended mesh is 110–305 tpi monofilament polyester. A water-resistant stencil that has been fully dried and fully cured should be used when printing with PERMATONE inks.
PERMATONE inks require heat curing after printing to achieve their intended resistance properties. Because water-based inks can begin drying in the screen during production, proper screen management is important. When additional screen open time is needed, PERMASET Print Retarder may be added according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
The PERMATONE 12 Liter Color Mixing Kit provides the complete collection of mixing components in convenient 1-liter containers, giving textile screen printers a single system for producing an extensive range of custom colors.
