Permatone is a 100% solvent-free water-based textile screen printing ink system developed for direct wet-on-wet printing on natural and synthetic fabrics.
Permatone Red B/S is the blue-shade red (Carmine) within the Permatone Color Matching System. It produces vibrant transparent red prints on light-colored garments and serves as one of the primary mixing colors used to formulate custom textile inks. Together with the other Permatone colors, Black, Blending White, and Extender (Print Paste), it allows printers to accurately reproduce over 1,869 custom colors while maintaining exceptional color consistency.
Designed for professional textile printing, Permatone Red B/S offers Permaset's signature soft hand, excellent screen stability, and brilliant transparent color. After heat curing, prints provide outstanding resistance to washing, rubbing, and dry cleaning without additional additives. It is suitable for cotton, cotton blends, polyester, linen, hemp, silk, rayon, and most natural and synthetic fabrics.
Blend Permatone Red B/S with Permatone Orange to create warm reds, bright coral shades, and custom sunset-inspired colors.
Eco Credentials: Permatone has been granted certification by the Soil Association of the UK, having successfully met the requirements of the Global Organic Textiles Standards (GOTS) for non-organic chemical inputs for use in organic textile processing; Permatone water-based ink is the only ink outside of the UK to receive such certification.
