Permatone is a 100% solvent-free water-based textile screen printing ink system developed for direct wet-on-wet printing on a wide variety of natural and synthetic fabrics.
Permatone Black is one of the core colors within the Permatone Color Matching System. It delivers a rich black finish when printed on light-colored garments and serves as an essential mixing color for creating custom textile inks. The Permatone system includes nine colors, Black, Blending White, and Extender (Print Paste), allowing printers to accurately reproduce over 1,869 custom colors while maintaining excellent consistency and print quality.
Designed for professional textile printing, Permatone Black provides Permaset's signature soft hand, vibrant color, and excellent screen stability for extended production runs. Once heat cured, prints exhibit exceptional durability with excellent resistance to washing, rubbing, and dry cleaning without requiring additional additives. It is suitable for cotton, cotton blends, polyester, linen, hemp, silk, rayon, and many synthetic fabrics.
Use Permatone Black alongside Permatone White to produce neutral grays, darker shades, and precise color adjustments across the PERMATONE Color Matching System.
Eco Credentials: Permatone has been granted certification by the Soil Association of the UK, having successfully met the requirements of the Global Organic Textiles Standards (GOTS) for non-organic chemical inputs for use in organic textile processing; Permatone water-based ink is the only ink outside of the UK to receive such certification.
