Improve printing performance with Permaset Print Retarder, a professional water-based additive formulated to slow the drying of screen printing inks during production. By increasing screen open time, it helps reduce ink drying in the mesh, minimizes screen clogging, and promotes smoother, more consistent printing, especially during long print runs or in warm, dry environments.
Compatible with PERMASET AQUA, PERMASET SUPERCOVER, PERMAPRINT PREMIUM, and PERMATONE inks, Permaset Print Retarder also improves the release of ink through the screen and the separation of the screen from the printed substrate. It is typically added at 1–3% of the total ink volume, allowing printers to fine-tune performance based on shop temperature, humidity, and printing conditions.
It is also beneficial in enabling easier release of the screen from the print during the printing process.
