Permatone is a 100% solvent-free water-based color matching system developed for direct wet-on-wet printing on both natural and synthetic fabrics. The system consists of nine colors plus Black, Blending White, and Extender (Print Paste), allowing printers to accurately formulate over 1,869 custom colors with exceptional consistency and repeatability.
Permatone Extender (Print Paste) is a transparent, unpigmented mixing base that serves as an essential component of the Permatone Color Matching System. It is designed to reduce color strength, increase ink volume, and create lighter shades without significantly affecting the printing characteristics of Permatone inks. This makes it ideal for producing custom formulations while preserving the system's soft hand and smooth printability.
Like all Permatone products, Extender provides excellent screen stability and, once properly heat cured, delivers outstanding wash, rub, and dry-clean resistance. It is suitable for printing on cotton, cotton blends, polyester, linen, hemp, silk, rayon, and most natural and synthetic fabrics.

Eco Credentials: Permatone has been granted certification by the Soil Association of the UK, having successfully met the requirements of the Global Organic Textiles Standards (GOTS) for non-organic chemical inputs for use in organic textile processing; Permatone water-based ink is the only ink outside of the UK to receive such certification.
