Hydro-X (RED) is a premium water-resistant photopolymer screen printing emulsion featuring dual-cure technology in a ready-to-use formula. Compatible with plastisol inks, water-based inks, and discharge inks, Hydro-X (RED) delivers outstanding water resistance, improved crosslinking, superior stencil durability, sharp image detail, and very fast exposure. The preferred coating method is 1x1, and the emulsion is optimized for LED exposure systems.

Hydro-X (RED) has a red appearance, 46% solids, and high viscosity. It does not require diazo addition or stencil hardener chemistry, making it ready to use directly from the container. For best results, store the emulsion in its original container between 60°F and 80°F (16°C–27°C) and protect it from freezing, as it is not freeze/thaw stable.

Before coating, clean and degrease the screen mesh to ensure proper adhesion. Apply the emulsion evenly using a quality Scoop Coater, then allow coated screens to dry completely in a clean, dark environment before exposure. Exposure times should be established using a 10-Step Exposure Guide or Exposure Calculator based on your mesh count, coating thickness, and exposure unit.

Once printing is complete, reclaim screens using a quality Emulsion Remover following the manufacturer's recommendations.

Need a larger size? Hydro-X (RED) Emulsion Gallon offers the same dependable performance for higher-volume screen printing operations.
