Chromaline CT-R Red Emulsion is a premium ready-to-use pure photopolymer screen printing emulsion developed specifically for textile printers seeking faster screen turnaround without sacrificing stencil quality. Designed for use with plastisol inks, CT-R eliminates the need for diazo mixing while providing exceptionally fast exposure and drying times that help maximize productivity in busy screen rooms. Its distinctive red color also provides excellent image visibility, especially on white mesh, making inspection and registration easier throughout production.
With an approximate 50% solids content and no inert fillers, CT-R produces durable stencils with superior mesh bridging, sharp image definition, and outstanding reproduction of fine halftones and detailed artwork. The high solids formulation also lowers the cost per screen by creating stronger, more efficient stencils with fewer coats. Excellent reclaimability allows screens to be cleaned quickly after production, reducing downtime and preparing screens for the next job.
For best results, thoroughly degrease mesh before coating and apply the emulsion using a quality scoop coater. Dry coated screens completely in a clean, dark drying cabinet at temperatures below 104°F (40°C) before exposing. Exposure times should always be determined using a 10-Step Exposure Guide or Exposure Calculator to optimize stencil quality for your specific exposure unit and shop conditions. After printing, reclaim screens using a quality Emulsion Remover for fast stencil removal and extended mesh life.
Whether you're producing athletic apparel, retail garments, promotional products, or high-detail textile graphics, Chromaline CT-R Red Emulsion delivers the speed, image quality, and durability professional screen printers depend on every day.
