Franmar D-Grease Screen Degreaser is designed to thoroughly clean and prepare screen printing mesh before recoating with emulsion. Its fast-drying formula removes solvent residues and leftover cleaning contaminants, helping create a cleaner mesh surface for the next step in the screen preparation process.
Properly degreasing the mesh helps improve emulsion adhesion and can help prevent fish-eyes and pinholes caused by dirt, debris, or residue remaining on the screen. This makes D-Grease a useful final cleaning step after reclaiming and before applying fresh emulsion.
D-Grease is alcohol-free, non-caustic, and 100% biodegradable. It also features a pleasant scent and can be used as a multi-surface degreaser around the shop. In addition to mesh preparation, Franmar states that D-Grease can help revive the stickiness of water-based pallet adhesives, giving it additional use in the screen printing shop.
