Franmar D-Grease Screen Degreaser is designed to clean and prepare screen printing mesh before applying fresh emulsion. It removes solvent residues and other contaminants left on the mesh, providing a clean surface for the next stage of screen preparation.
Properly degreasing mesh helps prevent fish-eyes and supports good emulsion adhesion. D-Grease is a useful final cleaning step after reclaiming, helping prepare used screen printing screens to be coated and put back into production.
The formula is fast drying, alcohol-free, non-caustic, and 100% biodegradable. It also features a pleasant scent and can serve as a multi-surface degreaser for other cleaning needs around the screen printing shop.
D-Grease can also be used to help revive the stickiness of water-based pallet adhesives, giving it an additional use outside of screen preparation.
The 5-gallon size provides a bulk supply for shops that reclaim, degrease, and prepare screens regularly. It is a practical choice for keeping a larger quantity of degreaser available alongside your other screen printing chemicals.
