PERMASET AQUA Pearl White (Liter) is an opaque, water-based metallic screen printing ink designed to produce a shimmering pearl white effect on both light and dark fabrics. PERMASET AQUA Pearl White is part of the PERMASET AQUA Metallic collection, which also includes Metallic Bright Silver, Metallic Gold Lustre, and Metallic Copper. Its opaque pearl finish and ability to mix with other PERMASET colors make this 1-liter container a versatile option for producing metallic graphics, custom colors, apparel designs, and decorative textile prints.
Pearl White combines metallic visual impact with the performance of a water-based textile ink. It can be printed on dark fabrics without an underbase, providing apparel decorators and textile screen printers with an option for adding metallic effects to their designs. The metallic range is designed for use with monofilament polyester mesh from 110–225 tpi, depending on the application. A water-resistant stencil that has been fully dried and fully cured should be used when printing with PERMASET AQUA inks.
PERMASET AQUA Metallic inks offer strong rub resistance, a mild handle, opaque coverage, and heat-curing properties. Pearl White is suitable for printing on cotton, cotton/polyester blends, and most synthetic fabrics, making it useful for a variety of textile screen printing applications. Because water-based inks can begin drying in the screen during production, maintain proper screen management and keep the image area flooded between prints. When additional screen open time is required, 1–3% PERMASET Print Retarder may be added.
