Franmar Color Change On-Press Ink Remover is designed for quick ink color changes and screen cleaning without removing the screen from the press. It can also be used to open clogged mesh areas during a print run, making it a useful pressroom cleaner for keeping production moving.
Color Change works with plastisol inks and all-purpose inks and provides screen printers with a convenient way to clean ink from the screen when switching colors between jobs. Its ability to work as a screen opener also makes it useful when ink begins interfering with open areas of the mesh during printing.
The formula is non-aerosol and 100% biodegradable and is made with 100% American-grown soybeans. Because it is supplied as a liquid rather than an aerosol, Color Change can be applied where needed during pressroom cleaning and color changes.

Q: What kinds of emulsions are recommended for use with Franmar cleaners?
A: Most emulsions will work with Franmar's line of cleaners. Keep in mind that Franmar's environmentally friendly cleaners require the use of water during the clean-up process, so having an emulsion with some water resistantce is important.
Q: Franmar cleaners are softening my emulsion. Why?
A: One posible cause for this is that the emulsion is not fully cured. Another possibility is that it's not actually the cleaner softening the emulsion, but the water that is used to rinse the screen. The emulsion used needs to have some water resistance to it.
