Franmar Color Change On-Press Ink Remover is designed for quick ink color changes and screen cleanup directly on the press. It removes ink from the screen when switching colors and helps open clogged mesh areas during a print run, keeping one cleaner available for multiple pressroom needs.
Color Change works with plastisol inks and all-purpose inks and can be used throughout production when ink needs to be cleaned from the screen. Its screen-opening capability is especially useful when ink begins blocking open areas of the mesh during a run.
The non-aerosol formula is 100% biodegradable and made with American-grown soybeans. Its liquid format provides an alternative to aerosol screen cleaners while remaining convenient for regular on-press use.

Q: What kinds of emulsions are recommended for use with Franmar cleaners?
A: Most emulsions will work with Franmar's line of cleaners. Keep in mind that Franmar's environmentally friendly cleaners require the use of water during the clean-up process, so having an emulsion with some water resistantce is important.
Q: Franmar cleaners are softening my emulsion. Why?
A: One posible cause for this is that the emulsion is not fully cured. Another possibility is that it's not actually the cleaner softening the emulsion, but the water that is used to rinse the screen. The emulsion used needs to have some water resistance to it.
