Chromaline UDC-HV Dual Cure Emulsion is a premium high-viscosity photopolymer dual cure screen printing emulsion engineered for the broadest range of imaging applications. Designed for use with plastisol inks, solvent, and UV inks, UDC-HV combines fast exposure with outstanding stencil durability, making it an excellent choice for both textile and graphic screen printing. Its high-viscosity violet formulation coats exceptionally well on both low and high mesh counts, producing sharp image definition and consistent stencil thickness.
Formulated with approximately 35% sensitized solids, UDC-HV creates hard, durable stencils that resist a wide variety of inks and additives while providing superior mesh adhesion and remarkable image quality. Its forgiving performance helps screen makers consistently reproduce fine details and halftones, while lightning-fast washout and easy reclaimability reduce screen preparation and cleanup time to improve overall production efficiency.
For best results, thoroughly degrease screens before coating and mix the emulsion with the supplied diazo sensitizer using distilled water, allowing the emulsion to stand for at least two hours before use. Apply the emulsion evenly using a quality Scoop Coater and dry coated screens completely in a clean, dark environment prior to exposure. Determine the proper exposure using a 10-Step Exposure Guide or Exposure Calculator based on your mesh count, coating thickness, and exposure unit. After printing, reclaim screens using a quality Emulsion Remover to efficiently remove the stencil and prepare screens for future production. Protect the emulsion from freezing, as UDC-HV is not freeze/thaw stable, and store sensitized emulsion at 60–80°F for a shelf life of approximately 4–6 weeks, or longer under refrigeration.
Whether you're producing apparel, decals, industrial graphics, signage, or specialty printed products, Chromaline UDC-HV Dual Cure Emulsion delivers the versatility, image quality, and dependable stencil performance professional screen printers rely on every day.
