AlbaChem SRC Stencil Removing Concentrate (16 oz) is a high-strength liquid emulsion remover designed for economical screen reclaiming. Its concentrated formula mixes up to 10:1 with water, allowing screen printers to prepare reclaiming solution as needed while reducing the amount of product that needs to be stored and shipped. One 16 oz bottle can be used to make up to one gallon of emulsion remover.
SRC is easy to mix, drain safe, and biodegradable. The formula contains zero VOCs, has a low vapor pressure, and is non-flammable. It is also completely soluble in water and has a mild odor, making it a practical concentrated option for regular screen reclaiming.
Before using SRC, remove all ink and tape from the screen. Wet the screen and apply the solution to both sides using a soft-bristle brush, scrub pad, or rag. Once the emulsion has softened, use a high-pressure rinse to remove the stencil, working from the bottom of the screen upward before repeating the process on the opposite side. Do not allow the chemical to dry on the screen.
