PalletGel 15.5" x 21" is a durable screen printing pallet adhesive featuring a 1mm-thick gel adhesive on the garment side. Applied directly to the pallet, PalletGel eliminates the need for paper pallet tape and is designed to last for several months.
One of PalletGel's standout features is its temperature-responsive color change. The material changes from green to yellow when the pallet reaches 120°F, providing a visual indication that the pallet is warmed. Warm and preheated pallets help screen printing ink flow smoothly through the mesh, help prevent ink from sticking to the bottom of screens, improve consistency from the first print to the last, and speed up flash time.
PalletGel is also designed for easy maintenance. Lint can be cleaned from the adhesive surface with water and a scrub pad, allowing the PalletGel to continue being used rather than replaced after lint buildup. Film release liners on both sides help provide a smooth application to the pallet.
The 15.5" x 21" sheet provides screen printers with a long-lasting alternative to traditional pallet tape while adding the benefit of a visible 120°F temperature indicator.
Step 1: Clean the Pallets
PalletGel sticks best to clean and dry pallets.
Step 2: Apply PalletGel
Apply the back edge of PalletGel directly to your pallet. While holding the opposite end of PalletGel up and off of the pallet, use a squeegee card or something rigid to squeegee PalletGel onto the pallet. Take your time here to avoid air bubbles. PalletGel will be on your pallets for a while.
Step 3: Tape the Edges *Important
Remove the top release liner from PalletGel and use masking tape to tape down all four sides of PalletGel to the pallets. This will help shirts slide on and off of the pallets easily. It will also ensure PalletGel doesn't lift over time.
Clean as Needed
Clean lint off of PalletGel with water and a scrub pad. Once the water evaporates, PalletGel is sticky again. If you get ink on PalletGel, use on press cleaner to remove the ink.
