The Vastex VRS Lite Pin Registration System is designed to help screen printers register positives and screens quickly, accurately, and repeatably off-press. Built as an all-in-one unit for small shops looking to save space, the VRS Lite makes it easier to align positives, burn screens in register, and mount screens onto a rear clamp manual press with less guesswork and less setup time.
Using the Vastex registration method, positives are first attached in register to setup sheets using an alignment grid backdrop. The positives are then attached in register to screens using the Vastex pin board with screen stops, burned on any exposure unit, and finally located onto the press using the VRS Lite board. This process helps improve registration accuracy, reduce setup time, and create more repeatable screen placement for both single-color and multi-color printing.
The VRS Lite is made specifically for rear clamp manual presses and fits a pallet width range of 14" to 17". It supports maximum screen sizes of 21" x 24", includes one pack of 12 setup sheets, and is designed for presses with a maximum screen clamp width of 15". It is not for side clamp presses. For small shops wanting a compact, faster, and more consistent registration workflow, the Vastex VRS Lite is a practical solution that can help shorten setup time and improve print quality
