Matsui 301 OW (Over-White) water-based inks are designed to be screen printed on top of a white underbase when working with dark garments.
Substrates: 100% Cotton, 50/50 Cotton/Poly Blends, and some Polyester fabrics. For best results when working with polyester garments, use a gray blocker beneath a white underbase.
Emulsion: Water-resistant emulsion (Recommended Emulsions: CP Tex Diazo Emulsion or DC 521 Dual Cure Emulsion. For short runs (under 1,000 imprints), ChromaTech WR Pure Photopolymer Emulsion can be used.)
Mesh Count: 160 t/in - 305 t/in mesh counts (for high-detail printing processes, such as simulated process printing, the recommended mesh count is 305 t/in)
Squeegee: Square edge, 60 to 80 Durometer, dependent on the desired deposit of ink
Cure Temperature: 320°F (entire ink film) for 2.5 - 3 minutes
Clean-Up: ReadyWash™ Water-Based Ink Degradent (It is not recommended to use only water for clean-up. ReadyWash™ Water-Based Ink Degradent will reduce staining of the mesh and break-down the ink)
