2" Atlas Quick Rip Tape (60 yds.) is a hand-tearable screen printing tape designed for taping the print side of screens as a blockout tape. Its blue non-adhesive edge provides a convenient tab for lifting the tape from the screen, making it easier to grab when it's time for removal.
Quick Rip Tape uses the same adhesive and backing as Atlas Split Tape. The underlying tape construction features a polyethylene-coated cloth backing and natural rubber-based adhesive. It is solvent resistant and highly conformable, characteristics suited to blocking screen printing frames.
The combination of the hand-tearable construction and blue non-adhesive removal edge provides a convenient option for screen preparation without requiring scissors or a blade to cut the tape. The adhesive and backing allow for clean removal when the tape is no longer needed.
