Ulano Trifecta SBQ Dual Cure Emulsion Gallon is a ready-to-use, ultra-fast exposing SBQ dual cure direct emulsion designed for imprinted sportswear printing with water-based inks, discharge inks, and plastisol inks, including post-phthalate formulations. This durable, violet-colored emulsion offers high humidity resistance, excellent solvent resistance, easy washout, and easy reclaiming.
Properly prepared Trifecta stencils do not require sensitizers or hardeners to withstand aggressive textile inks when sufficient UV exposure is provided, with post-exposure used as recommended for water-based and discharge applications.
With a high solids content of 43% and viscosity of 6,500 CPS at 25°C, Trifecta provides good coating control even on coarse mesh. The high solids formulation supports fast drying, good EOM buildup per coating stroke, and good printed edge definition.
Trifecta is formulated for compatibility with stationary and scanning CTS (computer-to-screen) exposure sources, including LED-based units. Yellow mesh is recommended for maximum resolution and wider exposure latitude with conventional and CTS exposure systems. For most printing jobs, apply two coats to the printing side followed by one coat on the squeegee side.
Dry coated screens horizontally with the printing side facing down. When using a screen drying cabinet, use warm, filtered air up to 104°F (40°C). Exposure requirements vary depending on equipment and screen-making conditions, so proper exposure testing should be used to determine optimum exposure.
