QX-7 SBQ Dual-Cure Emulsion Gallon is a universal screen printing emulsion designed by Ulano to provide excellent resolution for industrial graphics and electronics printing, including PCB and conductive trace applications. QX-7 is compatible with UV inks, virtually all solvent-based inks, and some water-based graphic inks, providing broad ink compatibility for industrial screen printing applications.

QX-7 is formulated for sensitivity to UV and near-UV-visible blue light and is ideal for computer-to-screen exposure using UV LED and UV laser-based systems. It can also be exposed using traditional metal halide light sources. Its very fast exposure speed is combined with wide exposure latitude and very good imaging properties for screen-making applications where detail and resolution are important.

With a 38% high solids content, QX-7 provides excellent resolution and edge definition along with good see-through registration. Its light blue color supports registration visibility, while the finished stencil provides a dry-to-touch, non-tacky surface. QX-7 also offers excellent humidity resistance, superb wet strength, and reasonable water resistance. When additional water resistance is required, QX-7 can be post-exposed for increased water resistance.

For demanding industrial and PCB printing environments, QX-7 provides excellent solvent resistance and is resistant to virtually all solvents used in industrial and PCB applications. The emulsion also offers excellent abrasion resistance and durability, with excellent mechanical and chemical durability during printing.

Innovative colorants help QX-7 stencils resist color fading and stencil discoloration when exposed to water and solvents. Specially optimized sensitizers facilitate excellent exposure-light penetration and thorough curing. QX-7 is also forgiving of poor mesh preparation and offers very easy reclamation, with stencils leaving no latent haze on the mesh after decoating.

QX-7 combines fast exposure with a long shelf and coated-screen life, excellent solvent and abrasion resistance, strong imaging properties, and easy reclamation. Its combination of UV LED, UV laser-based CTS, and traditional metal halide exposure compatibility makes it a versatile SBQ dual-cure emulsion for industrial graphics, electronics, PCB, and conductive trace screen printing.

The gallon size provides a larger quantity of the QX-7 SBQ dual-cure formulation for screen printing operations with regular stencil-making and production needs.
