Rhinotech RBP1500A Activator is an aerosol activator designed to instantly cure cyanoacrylate adhesive used when bonding mesh to screen printing frames. It works with RhinoBond adhesive to quickly harden the bond so the mesh can be secured to the frame.
The fine atomization provides consistent coverage for more even curing across the adhesive. Its aerosol can design also helps eliminate the spilling and leaking that can occur with pump-type activators, making it convenient for regular use in screen preparation and stretching areas.
RBP1500A is especially useful for shops that stretch and prepare their own screen printing screens. Once the RhinoBond adhesive has been applied, a light mist of activator helps cure the adhesive in approximately 10 seconds, allowing the mesh bonding process to move along quickly.
For best results, apply only a light mist. Excess activator can cause the adhesive to boil and reduce bond strength. If any areas remain uncured, they can be treated with another light mist before the mesh is cut and the frame is removed.
