EconoPRO™ 827WR Diazo Emulsion is a blue diazo screen printing emulsion formulated for use with plastisol inks and water-based inks. It features 42% solids, a 13,000–15,000 CPS viscosity, and offers wide exposure latitude, excellent resolution, fast drying, superior humidity resistance, and easy reclaimability for a variety of screen printing applications.
To prepare the emulsion, dissolve the supplied diazo sensitizer in water and thoroughly mix it into the emulsion until completely blended. Before coating, clean and degrease the screen mesh to ensure proper adhesion. Apply the emulsion evenly using a quality Scoop Coater, then allow coated screens to dry completely in a clean, dark environment before exposure. Exposure times should be established using a 10-Step Exposure Guide or Exposure Calculator based on your mesh count, coating thickness, and exposure unit.
Once printing is complete, reclaim screens using a quality Emulsion Remover following the manufacturer's recommendations. Store the unsensitized emulsion below 80°F (27°C) and protect it from freezing, as it is not freeze/thaw stable. The unsensitized emulsion has an approximate shelf life of 12 months, while the sensitized emulsion should be used within 4–6 weeks.
