Inks can be modified to enhance the printing process to achieve a desired effect. Properties such as feel and printability can be changed by adding a soft hand base or curable reducer. Other characteristics such as cure temperature or elasticity (stretch) can be changed. Also special effects can be added to a product by using an additive like a foil resist or puff additive.
