Their reclaiming system is a unique set of custom formulations designed to carefully remove imbedded inks and stains... quickly, safely and efficiently from all mesh sizes and surfaces. Albatross Screen Cleaning Chemicals:

Albatross screen cleaners penetrate and lift ink from the screen. All Albatross screen cleaners have high flashpoints, are low in toxicity and do not contain any hazardous components.

Albatross R.S.W. Screen Wash  

• A low evaporation press wash and recirculating solvent.
• Designed to work quickly and efficiently on all inks to open dried or clogged screen images.
• Ideal for quickly washing the screen after the press run.
• Biodegradable, non-toxic, very high flashpoint and environmentally friendly.

Albatross Plast Wash Press Wash 

• A water-soluble press side wash designed to work quickly and efficiently on plastisol inks.
• It evaporates fast without leaving any solvent residue on the screen.
• Ideal for quickly washing the screen after the press run.
• Plast Wash has a higher flash point than lacquer thinner, alcohol, ketones, etc.

Albatross L.U.V. Graphics Press Wash

• A water-soluble press side wash designed to work quickly and efficiently on U.V. and Solvent Based inks.
• Has a moderate evaporation rate and leaves no solvent residue after wipe-up.
• Non-staining formulation. Ideal for quickly washing the screen after the press run.
• Compliant with California A.Q.M.D. Y2K Protocols.
• Low V.O.C.’s, low vapor pressure, low odor, high flashpoint.

Albatross D-Grade Ink Degradent 

• Specially formulated to remove plastisol ink from both water resistant and pure photopolymer type stencils without softening or damaging the stencil.
• Excellent ink degradent for the removal of offset from rollers and blankets. Will not swell the rubber surface.
• Excellent emulsifying and degreasing properties.
• Dissolves fresh and dried printing inks currently utilized by the industry.

Albatross G.D.R. Graphic Ink Degrader and Screen Wash

Stencil and Emulsion Removers

All Albatross emulsion removers are biodegradable and do not contain any V.O.C.’s. They are offered in “ready to use,” concentrated liquid and concentrated crystal varieties. They are all designed for quick and efficient removal of emulsions.

Ghost & Haze Removers

Albatross ghost and haze removers completely eliminate any remaining ghost or image stains that may remain on the screen after emulsion removal. This can be an important process for obtaining perfectly clean screens.

Albatross Haze Free Ghost and Haze Remover

• Specially formulated to remove imbedded U.V. and plastisol inks (haze and ghost images) that remain on the screen.
• Emulsifies and dissolves the ink constituents; resins, binders, pigments, plasticizers, etc.
• The solution suspends these constituents so re-attachment to the mesh surface is prohibited, thus allowing for water-rinse removal.
• Excellent degreaser, as it also removes dirt, residues and sizing.

Albatross Haze Remover Paste 

• Removes Imbedded Ink, Haze and Ghost Images
• Rinses off with High Pressure Water
• Very low V.O.C.'s
• Can be left on screen for longer period of time for difficult haze & ghost images

Mesh Preparation Degreasers

Albatross mesh degreasers remove any remaining contaminants after the emulsion has been removed. This helps to improve the film adhesion and proper emulsion coating.

Bioprep Mesh Preparation Degreaser 

• A non-flammable, non-hazardous, low V.O.C., biodegradable degreaser.
• Non abrasive fabric treatment that acts like a wetting agent for use on all synthetic and wire screen mesh.
• Provides an even sheeting of water for complete uniform stencil adhesion.
• Improves film lamination and bonding of direct photo emulsions.
• For use before each stencil preparation.

Superprep Mesh Preparation Abrader 

• Abrasive mesh pretreatment containing microscopic grit and a degreaser wetting agent.
• Designed to make monofilament fabric more receptive for excellent stencil adhesion.
• Works quickly to lightly abrade and degrease without clogging the mesh openings.
• Works gently and can be used before each screen preparation.

Packaging

All Albatross screen cleaning chemicals are packaged in 1-Quart, 1-Gallon, 5-Gallon and 55-Gallon drum sizes. Albatross SMP Crystals are packaged in a 2-lb. container. Albatross offers a chemical resistant 16 oz. trigger spray container for use with all of the above liquid products.
