Discharge Zero Base is “formaldehyde-free” created to offer an alternative of quality to the screen printing market. Discharge Zero Base has a soft hand and a great stability in the screen. Once activated (6% by weight) Discharge Zero Base keeps its effectiveness for some hours.
Discharge Zero Base can be printed straight from the container and will perform like other neutral discharge inks to achieve the classic, vintage look. Discharge Zero Base can also be mixed with AquaTint Pigments to achieve a wide range of ink colors for light and dark garments.

(Recommended: CP Tex Diazo Emulsion or DC521 Dual Cure Emulsion, for use with water-based and plastisol inks. ChromaTech WR Photopolymer Emulsion can be used for small production runs, generally under 500-1,000 imprints.)

Water can be used, but recommended process for clean-up is using Aqua Wash Ink Remover specifically designed for water-based and discharge inks. Aqua Wash Ink reduces staining of the mesh and can break down dried water-based inks, allowing for an increase in screen longevity and savings on screen cost.
All additives listed are Formaldehyde and Phthalate Free.
- Reduce Viscosity: Add 3% of Hydra Reducer 120 E
- Improve Wash Resistance: Add 3% -5% Hydra Special Fixer
- Further Slow Drying of Inks: Add 3-5% Hydracryl Retarder
Recommended Pallet Adhesive: ReadyTack™ Pallet Adhesive is liquid platen adhesive that is designed to be used with water-based, discharge and plastisol inks. Unlike other liquid platen adhesives on the market, ReadyTack™ is not a water-based product and will not break down during production when using water-based inks. ReadyTack™ is more cost-effective than aerosol adhesives and can be easily reactivated by applying heat from a flash cure unit.
Recommended storage at 65°F to 90°F (18°C to 32°C). Avoid storage in direct sunlight. Keep containers well sealed.
