PVC & Phthalate Free  Direct Print Rubber Base Ink: RB Textile Inks are rubber Based, water borne PVC & Phthalate free inks that simulate plastisol inks in hand and opacity. They are tough, high permanence printing inks that can be used for coating or screen printing. Substrates: Cotton, polyester, cotton/polyester blends Wood, Plastic, Metal, Paper, and select Rubbers and Leather. Always test print fabric before beginning a production run. Application Information: The RB series inks can be printed right out of the containers without any modifications. Mesh: Standard Colors: 110 to 200 For smoothest deposit use 160 mesh or higher. | | Squeegee:60-70 Durometer: Sharp edge for light colored fabrics and beveled or sharp edge for dark fabrics. Emulsion:Use any water resistant direct emulsion. Gel or Flash Cure:Flash for 3-5 seconds with the ink deposit reaching 150-250 degrees F.Parameters vary between all flash units. Full Cure: The ink will air dry to a full cure in 24 hours. The ink will dry to the touch in 45-60 minutes. The ink will heat cure at 300F for 60-90 seconds, 250F for 1:30-3 minutes, and at 200F for 2-4 minutes. Wash Up: Clean up using water. Storage: Recommended storage temperature is 65-70 F. Avoid storing in direct sunlight. Modifiers: RR-100 Reducer/ Retarder – Add 5%-10% by weight to slow down the air drying process RB-1000 Clear – To extend your inks if needed. |
