(1) Underbase is based on 1 pass of 720HS for medium colored shirts and 1 pass of 1440HS for dark shirts.
(2) Does not include time to prep or rip the file. Simple files print immediately. Large files may take 1 minute to rip.
(3) Pretreatment on light shirts is diluted by 50%. This is figured into the usage number.
(4) Includes 10 seconds for reloading and rewinding.

CMYK = Four colors (the same rate and cost for seven color on "non-white" machine.
ML = Milliliter

Assumptions:
CMYK inks - 1 ml = 1 gram White Ink - .80ml = 1 gram
Printing is in bi-directional mode High Speed
Pretreatment takes approx. 7 ml for a 12 x 12 and 50% of that for a light shirt.
White ink usage for underbase is figured on 35% "solid" coverage for given image size. If image has a lot of white coverage or bold white type, the coverage will increase.
