Conveyor Dryer Comparison Chart
Leasing:
Which dryer is right for you? Asking the right question up front can help ensure the right fit. Take a look at what amount of production you envision having five years from now. What does your business plan project? Developing a business plan and/or projections is going to tell you allot about what your needs are going to be right now. Outstripping your dryer production capabilities can create an unnecessary bottleneck. Dryer capacity is determined by belt width, oven length, and wattage. The wider your belts are the faster you can load your dryer. Longer ovens mean that you can increase your belt speed. For example, doubling the oven length and you can double your belt speed while still maintaining the same curing effect. Higher wattages equates to achieving your curing temperatures faster.
* Pieces per hour are the manufacturers stated amount of production. These have not been independently verified and each manufacturer does their own testing. A comparison between models of different manufacturers may not be an accurate comparison based on different testing criteria. For capacity purposes, it is better to compare other values when making a comparison between manufacturers such as wattage, belt width, and oven length. **Ovens require two power sources: (1) The conveyor belt requires a 120-volt outlet for the 10-foot cord with plug provided. (2) The oven chamber comes with a 6-foot pigtail and requires a 240-volt outlet. It should be connected by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.
