Online Color Matching Form PDF Form Atlas Plastisol Inks have been formulated for high productivity wet-on-wet printing. Atlas Plastisol Inks are made with an opaque base to achieve optimum opacity. Atlas Plastisol Inks have excellent resistance to build-up and possess excellent printability. Atlas Plastisol Inks may also be used to print conventional cold peel transfers. (Contains less than 0.025% lead). Substrates:Cotton, cotton blends, polyester, some nylon. Application Information:Mesh: Optimal opacity: 86-120 threads/in. Overprinting and fine-line printing: 120-280 threads/in. White or light fabrics: 110-280 threads/in. Process colors: 305-355 threads/in. Squeegee: Medium durometer. Emulsion:Conventional direct or capillary films. Gel or Flash Cure:Approximately 230 F (110C). Top or back to Screen Printing Inks | | Full Cure: 320 F (160C) Transfer Temp: 350 F (177C) Modifiers:Curable Reducer #1007 - Lowers viscosity of plastisol inks without affecting fusing characteristics of inks. Add 1% to 10% by weight until desired viscosity is achieved. Not recommended for low bleed inks, curable reducer can lower bleed resistance. Clear Soft Hand #1014 - An additive for plastisol inks that is designed to soften and extend general purpose inks. Additions up to 10%- 20% may be used to improve printability and soften hand. Wash Up:Conventional Solvents or Atlas 975 Screen Wash. Color Availability:All of the following colors are available in quart, gallon and 5 gallon containers.
